I received the painting today. Thank you so much, it’s amazing! I just wanted to let you know that my grandmother and best friend who I’ve been caring for over the last year died on 27th December. She left me some money and I wanted to by a sort of memorial to her. Her favourite flowers were poppies, so I went in search of a painting on here, I immediately felt drawn to this painting. Weirdly my grandmother was born and brought up in Mumbles SWANSEA! So (sounds silly) but I feel it was a sign. Once again thank you, this painting will remain in our family forever!

I liked this as soon as I saw the photographs of it and I hoped it would be as good as the photographs made it look. The truth is, that the photographs don't do it justice. The paint is so richly textured in some parts, that it almost has the look and feel of a heavy embroidery. For a large canvas, with so many individual flowers, I think it is incredibly detailed. It really has been painted with love.
